What is your role at Omera Partners and what brought you to executive search?
“I am an Executive Assistant and Office Manager in the Brisbane office. My two roles before joining Omera Partners were both in recruitment, so executive search felt like a natural next step. I really enjoy the search process and being part of work that connects the right people with the right opportunities.”
Who do you support and what does it take to keep a search practice running well?
“For the Partners I support, that means coordinating with clients and candidates, preparing proposals, client reports and juggling calendars, all alongside the day to day running of the Brisbane office. Keeping a search practice running well comes down to being organised, responsive, and always a step ahead, so the team can focus on the search itself.”
What do candidates, clients and colleagues experience when they work with you?
“I am quick to respond, whether I am dealing with clients or candidates, and I put real effort into building strong relationships with the executive assistants I work with regularly. People tend to find me friendly, willing, and attentive, and I like to think that makes working with me easy.”
What do you most enjoy about working at Omera Partners, and what are you most proud of in your work?
“I enjoy the structure and process of my role, and the calibre of the people I work with. Most of all I love speaking to people and really getting involved in the search, rather than sitting on the edge of it.”
“For me, Where greatness is found means going above and beyond to get the best outcome for candidates and clients.”
What does life look like outside the office?
“Outside the office, I love spending time with family, getting to Pilates, trying different restaurants, and enjoying a good glass of red.”
